I guess I deserved it

I guess I deserved it for blabbing on and on about how there is nothing like New York City. I was smack dab in the middle of Blackout 2003. I ended up spending 3 days in the same clothes, having to use 4 modes of transportation to get from Brooklyn to the Upper West Side (one mode was illegal), and directed traffic at the busiest intersection in Brooklyn for over an hour until the cops came. Hee hee… And! Mom’s surgery got postponed—for good reasons. Amazing week and a half out of Austin. I’ll write more after some sleep.
