“The magnitude of joy that one can appreciate is equal to the magnitude of sorrow they have endured.”

It has been quite the month. Heck, it’s been quite the past 12 months. I’ve been in Austin for more than 3 years, and it’s like I’m totally starting over. But I keep harping on that, and I need to stop. There are always crappy days. Mornings where it takes all your concentration just not to cry. Nights when you get so angry your own thoughts won’t let you sleep. They’re universal.

But then there are days like last Sunday at the batting cages with Julie. Or this morning driving to work with Outkast on the radio, the sunroof open, and the windows down.

Shawshank was on AMC last night.

“Get busy livin, or get busy dyin’. That’s god damn right.”
