Seriously ladies—you disappoint me. Beth and Bre, with their fancy shmancy blogs have dropped the ball on this one. Trying to remember Janet hits and all you come up with is Rythym Nation (1989) and All for You (2001)? There’s a decade of hotness (musically and physically) that we’re missing here—after she lost the baby fat and before she got the surgery. There was Go Deep, If, You Want This, Anytime Anyplace, Got ‘Til It’s Gone, That’s The Way Love Goes, and a bunch more I can’t remember. Personally I think letting the puppies breathe is a bit much for a CBS broadcast, but it got the job done. I didn’t even know she had a new album coming out, but I heard her new single on the radio this morning.
