Rain, Rain, Go Away

Man, was it cold yesterday. Every year Austin manages to hit the brakes on the temperature one last time before the steady climb up to the triple-digits. Every year we get the, “Are you ready? You strapped in? Cause here we go…” I’m not ready. And I’m not strapped in. Texas summers are absolutely ridiculous. But April and October are the best months of the year, so I’m gotsta try and enjoy it.
It was so cold yesterday I actually had to turn the heat on for the first time in weeks. If it was just me I wouldn’t have, but some peeps came over for some Easter brunch. And it was pretty cool. Easter was never a huge holiday for me, but it was nice cookin up some scrambled eggs, pancakes, biscuits, and cinnamon buns. Only flaw was that in my shopping haste, it ended up being a vegetarian breakfast. I felt dirty.
Anywho, much like Saturday I spent mucho quality time with Mr. Couch. Everyone stayed after brunch to watch Old School, one of those precious few movies that get better every single time you see it. It tastes so good when it hits your lips…
