Back to Austin

And just like that, in 12 hours, I’ll be getting on a plane back to Austin. There were a few times when it dragged, but overall this week flew by pretty quickly. I thought I’d be living at the movie theater, but amazingly didn’t go out to see any. The high point of the week definitely had to be last night. After dinner we sat around and my mom and her sisters sang songs and reminisced about their childhood. It was so so great.
I was pretty worried that the boredom of this week and a half would only make me stress more about this week that’s ending, but I actually feel pretty good. I’m finally starting to put stuff behind me. Finally. There are going to be exciting changes at my job (still have to tell the story of how I almost lost it), and there’s a lot to look forward to in ’04. Good stuff. Can’t wait to officially put 2003 behind me.
