The Wrong Bolton

I love Air America Radio. I find myself listening to it for hours each day, and subsuquently finding myself getting angry for hours each day. Get used to seeing more political posts in the future.

Last month, Condoleezee Reezee announced that John Bolton would be the Bush administration’s nominee for the US ambassador to the United Nations. When asked by a reporter last week “Do you think that will work at the UN where they are more given to, I suppose, subtleties and indirection?”, her response?

“Not everybody is given to subtlety and indirection.”

That comment was followed by laughter.

Okay, maybe he’s a little bit of a tough-nosed guy. That’s okay, right? W loves his “bulldogs”, but I’m sure there’s a little bit of a nice side to him. W has said that he wants to reach out to others more in this term, so I bet he picked someone super-psyched to work with the UN, right? Right?
