Can you be allergic to beer? Well not beer in general, but to a specific type? I bought some Hoegaarden for someone. “It’s my new favorite beer!” I raved. “You gotta try it.” The verdict? She had two and it gave her a headache the next morning. I didn’t think too much of it until I woke up on Saturday morning.

Oh my. Ever had a vice squeezed on your head? Really? That’s weird. Anyways, back to my story. So what did I have to drink the night before? I went to a Housewarming Party and had four Hoegarrdens and a Parrot Bay and Coke. Am I becoming a lightweight? Maybe the early warning signs of CWO? Or maybe my new favorite beer in the world is my Kryptonite? I’m not sure which is worse.

Anyways, I finally rolled out of bed around noon and went down south to play ball with Zack and some friends of his from work. It rocked. Playing 3 on 3 is so much better than 2 on 2. And it’s amazing how much better I played simply being around people who play well. I think in anything that you do, having people around you that do it better than you is key. I hate being number one at anything. It’s so much easier to get better when there is someone to chase after and emulate. Hm. Maybe that’s why I’m so bored at work.
